Frimpong Kodua takes commanding lead in NPP General Secretary race – Poll

The poll places the former NPP General Secretary at 44.6%, putting him well ahead of his closest competitors.

However, the survey also points to a potentially fluid contest, with 32.7% of respondents yet to decide who they will support.

Another 11.2% declined to reveal their preferred candidate.

Former Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfrom MP Sylvester Tetteh is the closest named challenger to Frimpong Kodua, polling 7.6%.

Eugene Antwi follows with 2.2%, while Charles Dwamena records 1.7%.

The figures suggest that Frimpong Kodua currently enjoys a strong advantage, although the combined share of undecided respondents and those who declined to state a preference could significantly influence the outcome as the party’s internal elections draw closer.

The poll therefore leaves room for movement among the contenders, particularly if undecided delegates settle on a candidate in the final stages of the race.
