How Readers Report Errors

Readers may report possible errors through the Contact page, identifying the story, publication date, and the evidence supporting the concern.

Internal Review Process

The newsroom reviews correction requests against available records, sources, and published material before deciding the appropriate action.

Minor Updates and Material Corrections

Small spelling, grammar, formatting, or style updates may be corrected without a note. Material factual changes should be acknowledged in the article.

Correction Notes

When a material correction is made, a note may explain what changed and when.

Retractions and Clarifications

Retractions are reserved for serious cases where a story cannot be supported. Clarifications may be added where wording was incomplete or open to misinterpretation.
