The New Force has dismissed reports suggesting it has links with a group known as The Base Movement, insisting that no relationship exists between the two organisations.
In a statement released on Sunday, July 20, the political movement said recent discussions and public enquiries had created the mistaken impression that it was associated with The Base Movement.
It stressed that neither the movement nor its founder and leader, Nana Kwame Bediako, has any form of affiliation, partnership, collaboration, endorsement, or official relationship with the group.
“The New Force categorically affirms that neither the movement nor its Founder and Leader, Nana Kwame Bediako, has any affiliation, partnership, collaboration, endorsement, or formal relationship with any group known as The Base Movement,” the statement said.
The movement stated that any publications, activities, or claims suggesting otherwise are false and should be ignored.
According to The New Force, it has remained an independent political movement since its establishment, driven by its vision of building a united, prosperous, and transformed Ghana through leadership founded on integrity, innovation, accountability, and citizen participation.
It also clarified that all official announcements and public communications are made only through its recognised communication platforms.
The movement urged the public, supporters, stakeholders, and media organisations to verify information through its official channels and disregard any reports attempting to link it to The Base Movement.
The New Force reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, responsible leadership, and its vision of promoting national development and restoring hope among Ghanaians.
