The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has received the backing of party executives in the Upper East Region as he seeks another term as the party’s chief administrator.
In a Facebook post shared on Saturday, Mr Kodua thanked the regional leadership and party executives for their strong endorsement, describing it as a demonstration of confidence in his agenda to rebuild and reposition the NPP ahead of the country’s next general election.
According to him, the overwhelming support from the Upper East Region reflects the determination of party members to remain united and work together to strengthen the party for future electoral success.
Mr Kodua also expressed appreciation for the traditional smocks presented to him during the visit, saying the gift represented the trust and confidence the executives have placed in his leadership.
“The voice of the Upper East Region was unmistakable, clear, confident and resolute. Across the region, you reaffirmed your confidence in our shared vision to rebuild a stronger, more united and election-ready NPP. The gift of your cherished smocks is a profound vote of confidence. I will wear it with pride and a deep sense of responsibility,” he stated.
The NPP General Secretary further indicated that his re-election campaign is gaining traction across the country, stressing that he remains committed to uniting the party and positioning it for victory in future elections.
He concluded by saying, “The momentum is growing, and the message is spreading rapidly. JFK is focused on rebuilding. Prepared to Win.”
