The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South West has been involved in a road traffic accident while travelling on constituency business to assist students with their Senior High School (SHS) placements.
The accident occurred on Thursday as the MP and members of his team were travelling to support students facing challenges with their school placements.
In a statement following the incident, the MP said everyone involved was safe and in stable condition and was receiving the necessary medical attention and evaluation.
He expressed appreciation to first responders and medical personnel who attended to those involved in the accident.
The MP also thanked constituents, friends and well-wishers who had contacted him and members of his team to express concern and offer support following the incident.
He assured constituents that the accident would not affect his commitment to the development of Ahafo Ano South West or his efforts to support young people in the constituency.
He further appealed to the public to continue keeping him and the team in their prayers as they recover from the incident.
