‘Stop using my videos’ – NPP’s Buga Buga warns Ralph DeFollow

Chairman Buga Buga, who is seeking to become the 1st Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said he had been shown videos in which Ralph DeFollow appeared to be campaigning for him but was allegedly making fun of his political ambitions.

Speaking on Neat FM, he dismissed the perceived support and urged the social commentator to stop using his image or videos in such content.

According to him, Ralph DeFollow is not a member of the NPP and therefore should not present himself as someone campaigning for his candidature.

“The NDC guy with the Rasta, Ralph, they sent me his video. He was pretending as though he was campaigning for me, but he was actually trying to mock me. He should be very careful,” Chairman Buga Buga said.

He further alleged that Ralph DeFollow was aligned with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), arguing that support from a member or sympathiser of an opposing party could be intended to undermine an NPP candidate rather than promote them.

Chairman Buga Buga explained that such perceived support could create suspicion among NPP delegates and potentially affect how they view his candidacy.

“If you see someone affiliated with the NDC campaigning for someone in the NPP, it means they are scared of that person and are praying for the person to lose,” he stated.

He questioned the ability of Ralph DeFollow to influence NPP delegates, stressing that the social commentator’s lack of NPP membership meant he had no mandate to campaign on his behalf.

Chairman Buga Buga also claimed that Ralph DeFollow would not have received a positive reception from some NPP youth had he understood their position on his activities.

He consequently reiterated his warning to the social commentator to keep his images and videos out of content he believes is intended to ridicule his bid for the NPP’s 1st Vice Chairman position.
