Minority Leader and Effutu Member of Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has urged newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives in the Central Region to remain committed, united and spiritually grounded as the party works towards the 2028 general elections.
Addressing the executives, Mr Afenyo-Markin said political victories are achieved not only through strategies and hard work but also through seeking guidance and maintaining strong values.
He encouraged party members to combine their efforts to strengthen the NPP’s grassroots structures and prepare the party for the next electoral contest.
“Politics is a spiritual exercise, don’t do it with naked eyes. Call on your God and He will come to your aid at your crossroads,” he said.
The Effutu MP advised the executives to avoid conflicts, put aside personal interests and focus on collective efforts to rebuild the party and improve its chances in the 2028 elections.
He noted that effective leadership, discipline and cooperation at the constituency level will be essential to the NPP’s ambition of returning to government.
