Renowned herbalist Dr Felix Antwi Dankwa has reportedly died after a fire broke out at his residence at Kasoa New Town in the Central Region.
The incident is said to have occurred at about 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
According to a report shared by UTV Ghana on Wednesday, August 12, Dr Antwi Dankwa and his wife were reportedly experiencing marital difficulties and were in the process of seeking a divorce.
The couple had previously been involved in a confrontation in front of the Kasoa Police Station, after which the matter was reportedly referred to court.
However, before the scheduled court proceedings, Dr Antwi Dankwa was found dead after the fire at his residence.
His wife and other occupants of the house reportedly escaped unharmed.
The circumstances surrounding the fire and the death of the herbalist remain unclear.
The Kasoa Divisional Police Command has reportedly invited the deceased’s wife and the other occupants of the house to assist with ongoing investigations.
The Police are expected to establish the cause of the fire and determine the circumstances that led to Dr Antwi Dankwa’s death.
